Offering experience days and expeditions to veterans and injured service personnel is our chance to make a difference to those dedicated people who have given their life, soul and livelihoods to their country, who now need your help in their time of need. We take great pride in helping to support veterans by providing our experiences, also being ambassadors for the country's leading mental health charity who now supports them.
Combat Stress is a charity with a clear vision, and Sip has seen first-hand the impact that their team and programmes can have on the quality of life for those veterans who are now struggling to come to terms with the effects of their military service. Feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to the overall health of our soldiers, and this need has become exponentially heightened due to the recent pandemic and economic crisis.
Combat Stress have been supporting former servicemen and women for over a century, providing specialist treatment and support for veterans from every conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. Now more than ever, veterans need them, and we all need you. The vision of the charity is for all former servicemen and women with complex mental health problems to live full and meaningful lives. Their mission is to provide support and treatment to veterans with complex mental health problems to help them tackle the past and take on the future. United in purpose yet collaborative in action, their support really is vital to veterans who turn to them at their darkest hour.
In 2022, Sip joined their ranks as the first ever Combat Stress County Rep for Lancashire, supporting over 300,000 veterans in his region. Through Extreme Outdoors he will continue to support any veteran in need of assistance working alongside other charitable organisations and regional councils.
